Our Indoor – Carpet sign combines the same non-PVC GREENGUARD Gold-certified matte overlaminate as our Hard Floor option with the stronger adhesive properties of the IJ180Cv3 underlying film: it is the perfect option for carpets that require more adhesive strength than non-porous, hard floors.

The materials used for our Outdoor signs can already be found at the start-finish lines of marathons, in sports stadiums, and laid on the asphalt of ticker-tape parade routes: they are purpose-built for significant levels of foot traffic on outdoor pedestrian surfaces. This material is ideal to indicate where students should stand outside your school’s entrance for temperature checks, and how to navigate your school’s outdoor campus as safely as possible.

Sizes & Uses
3″ Directional Dots: align these smaller indicators every two feet between six-foot signs in areas with high traffic flow. These small indicators remind pedestrians to remain on the safest path and create a more continuous line that makes pathways easier to follow (see our home page banners for visual examples). 3″ Dots are also an easy alternative to Strips for use on the treads and risers of staircases to effortlessly indicate “up” and “down” directions – see our Strips section for more information.
6″ “Sit Here” Stationary Markers: social distancing signage can be broken down into two categories: circulation and stationary. Use these 6″ Markers in stationary settings to indicate where students should sit during class or between periods. To save your maintenance staff’s time and energy, place these markers beneath students’ desks to ensure furniture is quickly and accurately repositioned following each floor cleaning.
11.5″ Standard Signs: these are our favorite signs. These signs are large enough to easily communicate through both imagery and written messages, and can be used in hallways, at intersections, in queues, at entrances, in elevators, or just about anywhere else that instructions need to be clearly conveyed. We most commonly use them in uni-directional and multi-directional hallways with a printed arrow and placed six feet apart to direct traffic. Connect them with two 3″ Dots located every two feet to create a more continuous line that combines both form and function.
15.5″ Large Signs: sometimes a larger sign is needed to signal a change is coming. Place these at entrances, exits, temperature check stations, nurses’ offices, below hand sanitizer dispensers, at the starts and ends of stairways to indicate “up” and “down” directions, at intersections to warn pedestrians of a change in traffic pattern… they key is to use them to highlight that increased attention is required.
Sizes: all of our Circles are cut to the diameters indicated above. Why are we using half-inch sizes? This lets us squeeze an additional row of signs into our large-format printers, reducing material waste (and signage cost!) while preserving the size and visibility of the signs.
